Come experience music that moves from the quiet within to the vastness beyond.
What happens when music takes us from our most private thoughts into a world without boundaries?
Join the Kirkland Civic Orchestra for an afternoon that journeys from intimate reflection to breathtaking grandeur. Grieg’s Two Nordic Airs opens with the warmth and character of Scandinavian folk music. In Copland’s haunting Quiet City, a solitary trumpet and English horn emerge from a hushed, nocturnal landscape. Additionally, Sibelius’s powerful Symphony No. 2 unfolds on an epic scale—from moments of mystery and quiet beauty to one of the most exhilarating conclusions in all of symphonic music.
